Service Crew

Our dedicated team of volunteers work very hard to help maintain the Site and also undertake most of the activity instruction.

The Crew is made up of four separate teams who each work one weekend of the month, each and every month of the year.

The mixed crew are accommodated in Thrift Lodge where the standard of living is quite high with comfortable bunk beds, central heating and even a colour T.V. The crew are responsible for preparing all their own meals, the food is provided by the Camp Site.

Summer Staff

During the summer months Thriftwood employs activity instructors and staff. Food and accommodation are provided.

Wages paid are a minimum of £4.30 per hour rising to £4.85p depending on qualifications.
