The Event
This year's event saw over 480 young people from 37 different groups decend on Thriftwood on the coldest weekend of the year.
There were 121 teams split into 2 sections, 90 Junior and 31 senior all competing for the title of Champions.
Although open to Guides and Rangers, this was the first all Scout/Explorer event.
Meals
Over 1400 meals were served by the dedicated team from Hornchurch District, who call themselves The Doris & Dave Catering Team.

- Sprint: 14th Broadstairs (J) / Orsett & Bulphan/Horhchurch (S).
- Endurance: 1st Debenham (J) / Broadstairs ESU (S).
- Team Relay: 41st Epping Forest South (J) / 8th Hornchurch (S).
- Driving Skill : 1st West Horndon (J) / Zenith ESU (S).

What else happened?
During the day, when competitors are not racing, the following happened:
- Twice the Height of Ben Nevis was climbed and then Abseiled
- 40,000 bounces on the trampolines
- 4,000 corks were shot
- 2,500 arrows were loosed
- Many Adventures were had on the Playground
- Over 450 young people made friends and had fun
