Information on Canoeing at Thriftwood
Canoeing takes place on Sapper Lake, which is approximately 1 acre in area. Classified as 'C' Class water for Scouts, some parts as 'Safe Inland' for Guides.
Maximum size of group with site instruction is 12. Site Instruction available.
We have up to 24 single seat kayaks and two canadian C2's for hire.
Where possible groups should be of a similar standard so that the level of instruction can be geared to the group and not the individual.
